I tried to create studio shots that would work as e-commerce shots on a website similar to Chemex’s brand website, as well as lifestyle shots you would see on their Instagram ads or other internet ads. I studied their social media and tried to figure out their brand style and replicate it but also still make the shots my own.

Chemex - A School Project

For my commercial photography class I shot photos of my Chemex (I’m a bit of a coffee addict / snob). I shot it both in the studio using professional lights, as well as in my room using natural morning light to obtain natural lighting shots.
